Pecco Bagnaia dominated the Sprint race of the Austrian Grand Prix, the tenth round of the MotoGp World Championship. The Piedmontese centaur laid down the law for the entire short race in Spielberg, setting a pace unbearable for anyone, and now has a 46-point lead over his direct pursuer.

On the podium with him came Brad Binder on KTM and Jorge Martin on Ducati. Fourth place for Alex Marquez, then Jack Miller and a newfound Pol Espargarò, back on track after his serious injury in Portimao. Also in the 10 are Aleix Espargarò, Viñales, Morbidelli and Marc Marquez, tenth.

The race was affected by a carambole at the start where Johann Zarco, Marco Bezzecchi and Miguel Oliveira got the worst of it, all of whom crashed. Soon after, Luca Marini also fell, after contact with Jorge Martin.
