VR46: Marco Bezzecchi with a regret, Luca Marini on the rise
The words of Marco Bezzecchi and Luca Marini at the end of qualifying.
Marco Bezzecchi and Luca Marini finished qualifying for the Austrian Grand Prix in seventh and sixth place, respectively. Some regrets for the Bez, who after the record signed in the second free practice session, was unable to confirm himself in qualifying. Valentino Rossi’s brother, on the other hand, appeared to be on the rise compared to Friday.
“This morning I went well in the last free practice and I’m satisfied with the pace and driving sensations. In qualifying, however, I was not perfect, on my best lap I touched the green. I could have started a few positions ahead, but now we try to make a good start at the start and recover,” Bezzecchi told the official channels of the Mooney VR46 Racing Team.
Luca Marini commented on sixth place this way, “The way the weekend had turned out yesterday, we managed to make a good recovery and good steps forward. Starting sixth here is not bad, although I will start on the inside side of the track and that is not the best. I will try to make the most of the first few laps of the Sprint: aggressive in my driving to make up ground on a track where it is difficult to overtake.”
