Ferrari: Charles Leclerc remains loyal and opens up to Lewis Hamilton
Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc in an interview with La Repubblica confirmed his loyalty to the Prancing Horse despite the enormous difficulties encountered this season.
"There’è no rush to think about renewal, the prioritiesà are other. We are working hard to get back to winning soon: discussions about my future can be postponed until the end of the year", said the Monegasque.
Ferrari is also struggling in the Netherlands, but the driver from the Principality è was clear: "I would not trade places with Max Verstappen, being a Ferrari driver è has always been my dream and becoming world champion with Ferrari è my goal. I know that now I don’t have the car up to the level to fight with Max, but I have no doubt that my path is right. I will look at my career when I stop, but I have no regrets or remorse, I am happy in Ferrari".
Leclerc denied a contact with Mercedes ("Nothing true") and instead opened to a possible arrival of Lewis Hamilton: "I would have no problem if Hamilton came, but with Carlos Sainz I am fine, discussing even on the track motivates us a lot".
