First Major League Goal for Lionel Messi

It only took Lionel Messi twenty-nine minutes to score his first major league goal.

The Argentine star, in his new American adventure, had already netted in the Leagues Cup (also winning his first trophy in the U.S.) but had not yet made his debut in the American league.

He did so on the night, at Red Bull Arena against New York, subbing in at 15' of the second half for Leonardo Campana. At 44', the Argentine's goal made it 2-0 for Inter Miami and the Pulce&#39s first goal in the U.S. championship the result of a delightful one-two in the opponent's box with Cremaschi.

Thanks to this victory, Miami no longer è last in the standings and is aiming for a resounding comeback toward the playoffs, today diatant 11 points.
