Here is the text of the statement with which Cremonese announced the return to the grigiorosso of Massimo Coda.

"U.S. Cremonese announces that it has acquired from Genoa FC on a temporary basis with the right of redemption the sports performance of the footballer Massimo Coda.
Born in Cava de’ Tirreni on November 10, 1988, Coda è a striker who during his career has played more than 500 games in the professional ranks, scoring 178 goals so far, including 146 in Serie B. He grew up in Cavese, his hometown club, and has gained experience in Switzerland (with Bellinzona) and more recently in Slovenia with Gorica. Other clubs he belongs to include Bologna, Parma, Salernitana, Benevento, Lecce and Genoa.
He returns to Cremona after 12 seasons: in his first experience in grigiorosso (lasting from 2008 to 2011) he played 85 games, scoring 24 goals. A two-time Serie B top scorer (in 2020/21 and 2021/22), he won a double promotion to Serie A with Lecce and Genoa in recent seasons, while a third dates back to his previous experience with Benevento.
