Us Open, Sinner ahead two sets against Sonego
Jannik Sinner won the first two sets of the derby against Lorenzo Sonego, valid for the second round of the Us Open, the fourth and final Slam of the tennis season.
Sinner è started strong right away and got the break in the third game. The South Tyrolean è was solid at bat and a good Sonego è never managed to scratch him: the first set è ended 6-4 for the world No. 6.
Second set: sudden acceleration of the San Candido athlete, who immediately found the break in the first game taking an immediate lead. Sinner dominated the court, while Sonego tried hard to resist the blows of Italy's number one, without ever being able to trouble him at the serve: in the seventh game the South Tyrolean netted another break, closing the set then on a quick 6-2.
