David Ferrer applauded Jannik Sinner for the growth shown in recent months: "I feel that Alcaraz and Sinner are quite close. Carlos has already shown his skills and abilities by winning two Grand Slam titles, but Sinner won in Toronto and I think he is also ready to win his first Major".

According to Ferrer, the San Candido tennis player still has untapped potential: "Jannik is improving every year. Maybe physically he has not è grown as fast as Carlos, but è on the right track".
