Roma in crisis: Romelu Lukaku only hope
Roma is experiencing a rather dramatic start to the season: on its debut it drew 2-2 against Salernitana, in the next round it lost 2-1 to Hellas Verona and on Friday night it came out defeated in the match against AC Milan. Against the Rossoneri José Mourinho played the Romelu Lukaku card: entered in the second half, the Belgian immediately put pressure on the Diavolo’s rearguard.
Lukaku obviously still needs to assimilate the mechanics of his new team and needs to get into shape. The Giallorossi fans hope that the former Inter Milan player will be fully available to Mourinho soon: the team has already lost important points and no more missteps are allowed.
José Mourinho, probably annoyed by the penalty awarded for Rui Patricio’s foul on Loftus-Cheek, decided not to speak after the match against Milan. These, instead, are the words of Stefano Pioli: "The result è important, as well as the performance that gives continuity with what we did in the first two. I am very satisfied. I was changing Tomori because the only way to put Roma back in the game was to stay in 10. But we suffered with personality and we are satisfied with what we did in these first games. We were able to keep the ball, the team is well on the field but there's definitely something to improve. È the start we wanted, we can see important things".
