Moto2, Jake Dixon wins in Barcelona. Acosta stretches

GasGas centaur Jake Dixon won the Moto2 Catalan Grand Prix at Montmelò after a good final duel with Aron Canet for second position.

The British rider, in his second win after victory at Assen, è took the podium along with Canet and the'other Spaniard Albert Arenas. Instead, the World Championship leader Pedro Acosta finished sixth, not particularly bright but still able to gain more valuable points on Tony Arbolino.

The Italian rider, back from a disastrous qualifying, è finished just seventeenth, never able to get back into the points zone.

In the overall standings, Acosta now has a 22-point margin over Arbolino.
