Backfire for Mario Balotelli
Mario Balotelli could return to Turkey
Mario Balotelli is preparing for yet another turning point in his career: according to reports on Thursday from the Turkish news outlet 'Ajansspor', the striker en route with Sion is reportedly ready to pack his bags again and return to Turkey of all places, to that Adana Demirspor for which he played in the 2021/22 season and at the beginning of the next one.
Balotelli's experience in Sion would therefore be very close to its conclusion, after 19 appearances and 6 goals between the league and the Swiss Cup. Should the return to Adana become official, Balotelli would find Patrick Kluivert, who has been coaching the blue-blue club since this year, on the bench.
In his previous experience Balotelli was coached by Vincenzo Montella: 35 total appearances, with 19 goals between the Turkish league and national cup. Excluded, at the moment, is the possibility of a return to Italy: the last soccer adventure on Bel Paese soil dates back to 2020/21, when Balotelli played for Monza.
Mario Balotelli, born in 1990, è professional since 2005: in his long career he has worn the shirts of Lumezzane, Inter, Manchester City, Milan, Liverpool, Nice, Olympique Marseille, Brescia, Monza, Adana Demirspor and Sion. He also boasts 36 appearances and 14 goals with the national team jersey.
