F1 Singapore: Sainz and Ferrari on pole, Verstappen flop

Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz took pole position at the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix. The Spanish driver with a time of 1:30.984 preceded Mercedes driver George Russell and teammate Charles Leclerc.

Fourth place for Lando Norris, then Lewis Hamilton, Kevin Magnussen and Fernando Alonso. Ferrari concretized with the pole a weekend so far dominated: after leading in the three free practice sessions, Sainz è was the fastest of all also in official practice.

A resounding flop by Max Verstappen and Red Bull: the world champion è was eliminated in Q2 and only started from 11th on the grid, while teammate Perez è 13th. Both were in constant difficulty on the track, with an RB19 unrecognizable after the 10 consecutive victories won by Max so far.
