Davis Cup 2023, final eight draw: Italy with Holland, avoided Britain

It will be the Netherlands the opponent of Italy in the quarterfinals of the 2023 Davis Cup, scheduled for Nov. 21-26 at the Palacio de Deportes José María Martín Carpena in Malaga. On the Azzurri’s road, then, will be one between Novak Djokovic’s Serbia and Great Britain’s Cameron Norrie, Jack Draper, Andy Murray and Daniel Evans.

On the other side of the scoreboard, however, there will be Canada vs. Finland and Czech Republic vs. Australia.

There are seven previous matches between Italy and the Netherlands, all of which have been won by the Azzurri. In addition, in the final round of the Davis Cup, captain Filippo Volandri should be able to count on Jannik Sinner and Matteo Berrettini. From a doubles perspective, on the other hand, there could be the return among the summoned players of the experienced Fabio Fognini.
