Empoli, official the exoneration of Zanetti: already chosen the replacement

Paolo Zanetti no longer è the coach of Empoli: the Tuscan club has decided on a technical change after the heavy defeat at the Olimpico against Roma.

"Empoli Football Club announces that it has relieved Paolo Zanetti and his assistants Alberto Bertolini, Nicola Beati and Fabio Trentin" from the position of head coach of the first team.

"To mister Zanetti, protagonist of the ride that in the past season led us to salvation, go the most heartfelt and sincere thanks for the work done in these months. At the same time Empoli Football Club wishes the technician and his staff the best of luck for the sporting and professional future".

Zanetti’s replacement will be; Aurelio Andreazzoli, who for the third time will return to sit on the bench of the Tuscan team.
