During the press conference on Saturday afternoon, in which he presented the challenge between his Torino and and Roma scheduled for Sunday evening, Ivan Juric also addressed the issue related to the performance of Nemanja Radonijc, trying to explain the reasons for a certain discontinuity in the Serbian’s performance level, especially in challenges against big teams.

"He è always the same, you have to take him as he è – said the granata coach, responding to reporters’ questions -, there'è to say that when facing high-caliber footballers all strikers struggle more. In other matches, however, they emerge with quality and speed.

"Then it also depends on how we set up the match – added the Croatian coach. Against four-man defenses we play with two strikers, against three-man defenses Radonjic tends to go on the wing, although I would like him to play more in the center. He però prefers to stay wide, he looks for his spaces to get his cues".

Radonijc, class of 1996, è at Torino since the summer of 2022. Last season he scored 4 goals in 30 games between the league and Coppa Italia, this year he is already 3 in 4 Serie A matches but missed the only match he played against a big one, AC Milan (4-1 for the Rossoneri the final result, Radonijc substituted midway through the second half after a colorless match).
