MotoGP, Franco Uncini has his own favorite for the World Championship

Bagnaia è still the leader but only 13 points ahead of Martin

It looked like a World Championship already written, with Bagnaia destined for his second rainbow title but, thanks to the latest results, the riders’ standings è returned extremely short at the top. Bagnaia, reigning World Champion, è still first but with only 13 points ahead of Martin and 44 ahead of Bezzecchi. In short, everything to do again for Bagnaia.

Uncini, 68, a former Fim safety delegate and member of Race Direction, believes that Bagnaia still has a small advantage over his pursuers: "For sure, as an in-house team rider, being able to take advantage of developments before everyone else, Pecco knows he has a little something more, a bit’ of an advantage", his words to Gazzetta dello Sport.

Three Ducatis in the running for the World Championship, confirming that there are no real alternatives to Ducati’s dominance in MotoGP: "At the bike level, today perhaps the’only alternative to Ducati can’be Aprilia, sporadically KTM. Although Honda maybe can’be more competitive than usual. Instead, I don’t put my money on any of the three playing for the World Championship", closes the same Uncini.
