There has been a lot of talk about a possible landing of Hamilton at Ferrari. There'è was even a time when the Briton seemed destined to replace Sainz. Instead, recently, the seven-time World Champion renewed with Mercedes (until 2025), shutting down any talk about his future.

Hamilton has, once again, stressed his excellent relationship with Mercedes, explaining how he has never really thought about changing teams. In short, Ferrari è has only been a suggestion but Hamilton has è never been close to becoming a Maranello man and, at this point, it seems really unlikely that it could happen before his retirement from racing.
