Jannik Sinner as Panatta, Binaghi controversial: "That’s who è dedicated"

Federtennis president Angelo Binaghi è lashed out at Jannik Sinner’s critics after the Italian tennis player’s stunning victory over Carlos Alcaraz in the semifinals of the Atp 500 tournament in Beijing.

Sinner thanks to this result è climbed to number 4 in the world: "This victory è dedicated to those morons who had criticized him after his forfeit in the Davis Cup. Today è proof that Sinner had to do what he did. Jannik has a heart of gold and cares very much about the Azzurri jersey. I hope però that these senseless criticisms will continue because they give him a great charge like those of 2021 when he skipped; the Tokyo Olympics and was attacked harshly. He reacted by winning in Washington his first 500".

"Today Jannik reaches a historic milestone that Italian tennis has been waiting 47 years for. Today è his celebration and of all Italian tennis that thanks to him and other young and talented guys like Berrettini, Musetti, Sonego, Arnaldi and others will haveà 10-15 years of success".

"Jannik will haveà a bright future, now two more years of physical and technical maturation await him in order to be able to reach his optimal level and give his best", are the words reported by the Adnkronos.
