Daniil Medvedev sends warning to Jannik Sinner

After beating Germany's Alexander Zverev in the quarterfinals of the Beijing ATP, Daniil Medvedev è bluntly expressed himself about his next opponent in the semifinals, namely Jannik Sinner, who defeated Carlos Alcaraz 7-6 6-1.

"Against Jannik so far I have been doing quite well in the direct clashes, but we have had different matches. He è still very young and in every match he learns something. Since the last time we played è he managed to win his first Masters 1000. It's a great confidence boost" began the Russian tennis player in a press conference.

"The difference today, with the roof closed, I noticed it already by hitting balls with Sascha in the warm-up and I thought that the ball was really faster than yesterday and the previous days. In general, today è was a day when you could make one or two good shots and it could be enough to win the exchange, which I think should be the tennis of the hardest courts. With the open roof è different" added the world number three.

"It's been a difficult match. It's very rare that I can beat Sascha with such a score. He had break points in both sets. The match could have gone differently. There was nothing to change after Cincinnati, only to play better and try to build up opportunities to break serve" Daniil Medvedev commented.
