David de Gea continues his vacation

After his July divorce from Manchester United, David de Gea has no longer found a team willing to take him on. At first, Real Madrid seemed to be the highest-rated option: the Blancos were looking for a goalkeeper to make up for Courtois's injury but eventually chose Kepa.

There was also talk of Inter Milan: after the sale of André Onana the club was looking for a new number 1 but the choice è fell on Yann Sommer. Apparently, David de Gea was not willing to reduce his salary and the Nerazzurri club therefore decided to turn to the Swiss from Bayern Munich.

Of course, seeing the performance of Onana (paid 52 million euros in the summer), some Red Devils fans might wonder whether the club took a step forward or a step backward by replacing de Gea with the former Inter.
