Reggio challenges Olimpia, coach Priftis keeps his feet on the ground

Pallacanestro Reggiana is preparing for its second away game of the season, after the one in Brindisi in the opener, this time on the parquet of the Italian Champions of Olimpia Milano.

It takes the court on Saturday at 19:00 at the Mediolanum Forum in Assago, in one of the advances of the third day of Serie A UnipolSai. 

Coach Dimitris Priftis presented the match in a press conference against the defending champions: "We are happy to have gained two victories in these first days, but beyond the enthusiasm, our task is to keep our feet firmly on the ground and above all to make sure that realism takes precedence over dreams. Obviously, facing a very strong team, it will be a definitely more demanding match than the previous ones".

"Our goal è to continue to make progress as a team, try to stay focused for the entire forty minutes so that we can be as competitive as possible against an’opponent like Milano, which has had all week to prepare for this game, not being engaged in the Euroleague, and I am sure will be very ready. L’Olimpia è formation that plays a choral basketball, and above all that has the abilityà of reading to identify the weak points of the opponents and hit them. For this reason, every detail will have to be taken care of to perfection against them" concluded the coach of the Emilian team.
