Ferrari, measures arrive on Carlos Sainz’s car

The measures expected in Maranello have arrived.

Ferrari at work for Carlos Sainz after the disaster of the Qatar Grand Prix. In Losail, the Rosse had to give up on the Spanish driver, who never started in Sunday’s race due to a worrying gasoline leak. A problem that, after the work done by the Cavallino’s technicians, should no longer recur.

As confirmed by 'Motorsport.com', in fact, Ferrari has decided to replace the tank on Sainz’s SF-23 ahead of the upcoming U.S. Grand Prix, which will be held at the Austin circuit. Thisò will take place directly in Texas, where the single-seater è was shipped directly from Qatar. And it will be here that the Cavallino team will proceed with the replacement of the failed component.

It took Ferrari some time to figure out exactly what the problem consisted of and, more importantly, what its causes were. In time it had turned out that the problem was not è caused by a violent impact against the dangerous Losail curbs. In any case, the problem had arisen too close to the Grand Prix, which had prevented the mechanics from resolving the fault in time to send Sainz to the track.
