The words of Marco Bezzecchi

Marco Bezzecchi celebrated with a podium finish his return to the track after's surgery for a compound fracture of his right collarbone.

"Until Wednesday, I didn’t even know if I would be here today. To be here è fantastic. I had some luck in the race, but I was also pretty fast. This podium after the collarbone surgery è fantastic. The team did a great job".

" I want to thank my physiotherapist Carlo, Dr. Porcellini who operated on me and all his team, becauseé they gave me the opportunity&eagrave; to come here and race. Tomorrow will beà obviously very hard, but I will giveò everything as always. I am really happy. I never thought I would come here in this condition and do this race. When I saw myself lì in front I knew I was going strong. Honestly in the first 6-7 laps I was really good, almost as if I had nothing, then a little bit; the adrenaline drop made me feel a little bit’ of pain especially in braking. When I got behind Maverick I started to struggle a lot physically, because you have to ride differently and it’s harder to stop with him in front. I tried to pass him a couple of times on the right but I was always going wide, I lacked some’ strength. On the’last lap then I gritted my teeth and made it, I am really happy", his words to Sky Sport.
