Russia’s Andrey Rublev will face Poland’s Hubert Hurkacz tomorrow to claim victory in the Shanghai tournament, the penultimate Masters 1000 of the season.
The 25-year-old Muscovite è qualified for the final by beating Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov 7-6, 6-3, while Hurkacz earlier defeated the U.S. by a score of 6-3, 6-4.
Both finalists are in the hunt for their second career Masters 1000 victory, with the Russian having won the one in Monte Carlo last spring while the Pole has been waiting for an encore since the Miami 2021 tournament.
