MotoGp, Ducati: Gino Borsoi removes all doubt about Jorge Martin’s crash
Gino Borsoi speaks out on Jorge Martin’s fall
A key episode of the MotoGp class Grand Prix d'Indonesia, Jorge Martin’s fall is still a topic of discussion, not only because it prevented the Spaniard from strengthening the overall lead he had gained twenty-four hours earlier, but also because, aided by Pecco Bagnaia’s comeback victory, it put the Pramac Racing rider back in second place, 18 points behind.
Fans and insiders wondered whether the causes of the crash were due to a distraction error or a technical problem. The team manager of Pramac Racing, Gino Borsoi, dispelled any doubts when speaking to the Spanish portal 'As': "Speaking with Jorge he assured me that he was calm, that he was managing the race" he began.
"Then we saw the telemetry and confirmed his impression: è he simply went a little bit moreù long, in an area that was not completely clean, he noticed it right away on the track but he couldn’t do anything about it. He lost traction and è fell, nothing else".
Nothing è however, still lost for Borsoi: the'former Aprilia (and, for one season, Yamaha) rider in the 125 class between 1996 and 2004 è still convinced of 'Martinator's world ambitions. "There's no reason to think about the fall,” he said, “we are having a fantastic season. There are many races left, anything can happen".
