Here are the top players on Jannik Sinner’s path in Vienna and Paris-Bercy
Skipping the Antwerp 250, which is being played this week, Jannik Sinner is set to face the last two tournaments of his beautiful 2023 that has taken him to No. 4 in the world rankings, before he plays the ATP Finals in Turin and, hopefully, the Davis Cup finals in an Italian shirt.
Next week, the 22-year-old South Tyrolean born in San Candido but originally from Sesto will be involved in the Vienna ATP 500, where he will be the No. 2 seed behind Russian Daniil Medvedev.Also in the Austrian capital will be the other Russian Andrey Rublev and Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas, the No. 3 and No. 4 seed respectively.
Then for Jannik, the following week, it will be the turn of the’last Masters 1000 of the year, Paris-Bercy where all three of those ahead of him in the rankings will be present: the number 1, Serbian Novak Djokovic, the number 2, Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, who is playing in Basel this week, and the number 3 Medvedev. But all the other top10s are also expected to be present.
Finally, the ATP Finals are scheduled for Nov. 12-19 in the Piedmontese capital, while the Davis Finals will be played in Malaga, Andalusia, from Nov. 21-26.
