Moto2, Celestino Vietti gives it a try: message to fans
Celestino Vietti is back in the saddle
Less than a month after fracturing his pelvis in India, Celestino Vietti has decided to return to the saddle in Australia for the sixteenth weekend of the MotoGP season. The last race held by the Fantic Racing team rider è the San Marino and Riviera di Rimini Grand Prix, which he finished in second place behind Pedro Acosta.
"Finally! Staying at home watching others race è hard – Vietti told his team’s official channels, addressing his fans -I’m still not at 100 percent physical condition, but it’s better now. I hope to be able to ride without too many problems, also becauseé I like the track and è nice to race at Phillip Island".
"Then,” he added, referring again to the upcoming race weekend, “we also hope for the weather because ité can&eograve; be an’unknown. But in the meantime, I am happy to be here and to re-embrace the team". In Australia, Vietti is first and foremost looking for a good result and, should he find the feeling with the bike and track immediately, he could also aim for what would be his third podium finish of the season, following his success in Austria and the runner-up spot in Misano.
