MotoGP, KTM super in FP2: Bagnaia lagging behind
Bagnaia missed the access to Q2 by only 0'186 thousandths
At Phillip Island, home of the Australian GP, KTM shines in FP2. The RC16 flies with Binder (1'27"943) and Miller (distanced by 0.269 thousandths) first and second respectively at the end of the second free practice session. Behind them a very good Vinales.
Well also Martin who, after setting the best time in the first free practice session, recorded the fourth time, ahead of Pol Espargarò and Bezzecchi. Di Giannantonio and Bastianini also go into Q2. Late, however, the reigning World Champion.
Bagnaia did not find the right feeling with the track and, as happened at the GP d'Indonesia, è remained behind as times and performance. In the end, the world leader è had to settle for 11th place. By just 0'186 thousandths, he failed to qualify for Q2. Also in great distress was Marc Marquez, who had to settle for 16th overall time.
