Victor Osimhen remains at the center of soccer market rumors at Napoli after the stalemate in contract renewal negotiations. The Campania club with an official note wanted to deny the rumors of frosty relations between the Nigerian striker ,currently injured, and the Campania club.

"We have read forced reconstructions of the words of President De Laurentiis with respect to the Osimhen issue. Better to clarify. President De Laurentiis did not say anything negative about Victor, only that after a long negotiation, culminating in a handshake sanctioning the willà to continue the relationship, Victor had second thoughts".
