Johann Zarco won his first career MotoGp Grand Prix in Australia after a shock finish at Phillip Island. After leading the race for 26 laps, Jorge Martin è collapsed just on the last lap because of the tires (he had mounted a soft compound on the rear) and è slipped to fifth position.

Pecco Bagnaia smiles and thanks: the centaur of the official Ducati team finished in second place behind Zarco, gaining valuable points on Martin in the overall standings. Now the Piedmontese rider's advantage over the Iberian è of 27 points. Also on the podium with them was an amazing Fabio Di Giannantonio, reborn with the Ducati Gresini team.

At the foot of the podium is Brad Binder (KTM), so behind Martin are Bezzecchi, Miller, Aleix Espargarò, Alex Marquez and Enea Bastianini. Disappointing Vinales and Luca Martini, respectively in 11th and 12th place, also bad Marc Marquez, 15th ahead of Fabio Quartararo.
