Verona and Napoli open the ninth day of Serie A. Kickoff at 3 p.m. at the Bentegodi. The Scaligeri, after a comforting start in the league, have suffered four defeats in the last six days. A subdued start also for the Italian champions, fifth in the standings at -7 from the top, and fresh from the clear home loss to Fiorentina.

Baroni rejoins Dawidowicz in defense and Doig on the left flank with Faraoni settling on the right. In attack, Djuric is the only point, supported by the Ngonge-Lazovic pair.

Garcia must give up Osimhen, injured in the national team. He makes room for Simeone in attack, with Politano and Kvaratskhelia on his flanks. In midfield Cajuste replaces the injured Anguissa, while in defense Rrahmani returns, who will partner Natan.
