Serie B: narrow successes for Sudtirol and Brescia, draw between Bari and Modena

Cremonese-Sudtirol 0-1, Ternana-Brescia 0-1 and Bari-Modena 1-1

The Saturday afternoon of the tenth day of Serie B opened with measured external successes of Sudtirol and Brescia against Cremonese and Ternana, respectively. It ends in a draw, however, the challenge between Bari and Modena.

At the "Giovanni Zini", after a first half, in which Cremonese created the best chances, to decide the match è an unfortunate own goal by Ravanelli, who at 83' in an attempt to anticipate the intervention of Odogwu on the cross of Quagliata, ended up mocking Sarr and giving the three points to the Altoatesini.

At the "Libero Liberati", after a balanced first half, the Rondinelle managed to find the lead at 70' with a precise left-footer from outside the box by Dimitri Bisoli. The challenge for Ternana, however, gets even more uphill six minutes later, as defender Marco Capuano, after a VAR check, is sent off for a disjointed intervention against Moncini. In the end of the match, accomplice the numerical superiority, Brescia managed to put the game to sleep and take home the three points.

At the "San Nicola", the first big chance is created by Bari at 37', with Sibilli who puts a dangerous cross into the middle that Cauz deflects into the corner narrowly touching the'own goal. In the minutes of recovery are still the biancorossi to go close to the advantage with Bellomo who puts a good cross for the former Pisa, who is anticipated on the più beautiful by Cotali. At 72' the Galletti manage to find the advantage with Sibilli who beats the Modena extreme defender with a low shot from the edge of the area. The joy, however, lasts only ten minutes, since at 83' Manconi manages to concretize in the best way a dead ball sealing the definitive 1-1.

In the other Saturday afternoon Serie B matches, Pisa è imposed itself at home against Cittadella 2-1, thanks to goals by Piccinini and Esteves at 16' and 70' respectively. It was of little use the flagship goal sealed by Magrassi at 94'. Victory also for Ascoli, which won 0-2 away against Lecco, thanks to goals by Nestorovski and Quaranta at 35' and 55'. In the postponement, Catanzaro è won 3-0 over Feralpisalò.
