Ben Shelton, just hours before the Vienna match against Jannik Sinner, spoke about Azzurro to Gazzetta dello Sport, not hiding his admiration: "He is only a year older than me and has done so much. He leads a fantastic generation of young Italians and è among the top 5 in the coming years".
Shelton just won the Atp 500 in Tokyo and is on the launching pad: "Personally, I aim to lead my country first in the Davis Cup and next season in the Olympics".
On the Big Three: "Rafa I’ve studied him and tried to steal some of his secrets. Forò my favorite è always been Roger".
Favorite tennis player: "It's always been my father. If I have to go beyond the family circle, then I say Andy Roddick".
