Olimpia Milano, Ettore Messina does not trust Alba Berlin.
Ettore Messina urges not to underestimate Alba'Alba
The only match this week in the Euroleague for Olimpia Milano is Thursday's on the parquet of Alba Berlin, one of the only two teams still dry (zero won and four lost), along with Asvel, in this start of the European season.
Ettore Messina, however, doesn't want to underestimate the Red Shoes's upcoming opponents: "Alba Berlin, with Coach Gonzalez, always manages to field very aggressive and athletic teams that play at a high tempo and force a lot of turnovers" he said.
"This è an area of the game where we need to improve, so it will be important to move the ball and defensively contain their one-on-ones. It's a game that presents many themes, starting with the return home of Maodo Lo, who will be available again, and moving on to the interest and curiosity that playing against two excellent promises of Italian basketball like Spagnolo and Procida" then concluded the coach of the meneghini.
Olimpia has so far played three games in the Euroleague, winning against Olympiacos and coming out defeated against the battleships Fenerbahce (after overtime) and Real Madrid.
