World Cup: England third, Argentina beaten
England forgets the mockery against South Africa in the semifinals and takes the lowest step on the podium of the Rugby World Cup. Beat Argentina 26-23 in the consolation final at the Stade de France in St. Denis.
Owen Farrell was decisive with 16 points scored. Nicolas Sanchez, however, misses the decisive kick to tie the game with four minutes left. The Pumas miss the opportunity to match the historic 2007 result. Tomorrow the final between New Zealand and South Africa.
