Crucial victory for Torino in Lecce: the granata impose themselves thanks to Buongiorno’s goal and raise their heads again after two consecutive defeats. Breath of fresh air for Juric, now the granata in the standings climb to 12 points in thirteenth place, while Lecce è tenth at 13. 

The teams took the field with different formations: Lecce opted for a 4-3-3, while Torino chose a 3-5-2 form. The match è started with a fast pace, with both teams trying to take control of the game. However, the first half è was marked by numerous foul interventions, which led to the cautioning of Gvidas Gineitis and Karol Linetty for Torino, and Valentin Gendrey and Hamza Rafia for Lecce.

The decisive goal è came on 41'when Alessandro Buongiorno struck with an accurate shot from a few meters, putting Torino ahead. The assist è was provided by Samuele Ricci, who made the most of a counterattack. Despite Lecce’s efforts, the first half è ended with Torino leading 1-0.

In the second half, Lecce tried to fight back, making several substitutions. In the 56' minute, Remi Oudin and Gabriel Strefezza entered in place of Hamza Rafia and Pontus Almqvist, while in the 62' minute, Roberto Piccoli and Nicola Sansone replaced Nikola Krstovic and Lameck Banda. However, despite several scoring chances, the home team did not è manage to equalize.

In the final part of the match, Torino tried to manage the lead, slowing down the pace of the game and trying to contain Lecce’s attacks. Despite a yellow card received by Ricardo Rodríguez at 71' and a red card to coach Ivan Juric at 96', the visiting team è managed to maintain the lead until the final whistle, bringing home a valuable away win.
