Monza-Udinese 1-1

Monza and Udinese close on’1-1, a point for Cioffi on his return to the bench of the Friulian team.

The rhythms at the’U-Power are initially promising, with Udinese showing it has not come to Brianza just to defend. When però Kyriakopoulos breaks through on the left lane for the bianconeri it is pain: the ‘Arrow of Patras’ succeeds at 27’ and when he puts the ball in the middle of the area comes like a hawk Colpani, who scores yet another goal of his season. The Friulians react and although in front Success è a little smoky Di Gregorio has to be very careful, although he does not run serious dangers. Still, it goes to rest on’1-0.

No change in the’interval, we restart and Monza tries to throw the’opponent: within a minute two corners arrive. Udinese holds on to the very brief flare-up of the hosts and even has a glaring chance to equalize but Di Gregorio è a cat on Zemura just before Cioffi sends in Lucca and Ferreira for an uninspired Samardzic and Kabasele. Success confirms himself as not very concrete under goal, but the Bianconeri are largely in the game and Palladino changes, removing Pablo Marì and Vignato and inserting Bondo and Dany Mota. Cioffi responds with Lovric and Kamara (Payero and Zemura come out) and at 21’ he is rewarded by Lucca’s goal, who scores with an under-measure paw.

Cioffi’s team pressed against a Monza side that struggled to push as hard as it would like, and Lovric went close to scoring the winning goal. The red and white response, with a’foray by Ciurria, causes chaos in the host rearguard, which però is saved. Palladino also plays the cards Maric and Birindelli (out Colombo and Colpani) just before a providential save by Silvestri on a venomous conclusion from the distance by Ciurria: corner for Monza, which seems to want to make a final effort, with Valentin Carboni on the field in place of the ‘Fante’. Udinese does not come out anymore, Monza collects corners but does not find the goal victory.
