Nicola Rizzoli has clear ideas about the evolution of VAR
Nicola Rizzoli, former international referee and former designator of A and B, è spoke, during the celebrations for the 100th anniversary of the AIA section of Naples, in the always heated debate regarding the use and future evolution of VAR.
"The referee's job today is particularly difficult,‖ said Rizzoli. The regulations and the use of VAR will have to be improved. Public dialogues between referee and VAR? It's an attempt and should be welcomed in an intelligent way, è proof that there's nothing to hide".
"All first steps are used to evaluate whether something è positive or not,‖ he added. The impact è extremely positive. Actual time and challenge for coaches to call VAR? Teams are entitled to play the same minute as was done at the World Cup and the recovery was higher".
"The wish,” he then concluded, “is to have a window of time played that is equal for everyone. At the moment there'è no disclosable news about the challenge called by the coaches".
