After Jannik Sinner’s criticism of the match scheduling of the Paris-Bercy Masters 1000 tournament, Andrey Rublev also took it upon himself to send a clear message to the ATP after his comeback victory over Alex De Minaur late Friday evening on November 3.
"After a match like this now I have to have dinner, have a treatment and then come back and take a shower. Before 4 or 5 a.m. I won’t be able to sleep, this schedule è really crazy. Thank you ATP, and to think that I am on the council" began the Russian tennis player in the post-match press conference.
Later Rublev è expressed himself on the challenge ahead of him in the semifinals against Novak Djokovic: "What have I learned from our challenges? He beat me four times out of five, so I would say I haven’t learned anything".
