Giuseppe Marotta confirms interest in Konaté
Giuseppe Marotta, at the microphones of 'Prime Video', spoke among other things about Inter's market, confirming the interest in Karim Konaté, striker in force at Salzburg and, despite being only 19 years of age, already in the tour of the Ivory Coast senior national team.
Marotta, forò, made a further clarification, although without adding other names to that of the young striker: "Konaté we definitely like him, but in Salzburg there are also other interesting youngsters whose names are on the notebooks of several important clubs".
Konaté, born in 2004, è grew up in the youth ranks of ASEC Mimosas, a club in the former Ivorian capital Abidjan where Yaya Touré, Solomon Kalou, Didier Zokora and Emmanuel Eboué among others, played. He arrived in Salzburg in 2022, also playing on loan in Liefering last season. Since this year he has been permanently on the Salzburg Red Bulls roster.
