Malaysia GP: Bastianini wins, Bagnaia better than Martin
Bagnaia stretches Martin in the rankings
The Malaysian GP is won by a super Bastianini (first win of the season). Starting in the lead, the Ducati rider did not è look back anymore, bringing home a victory of enormous prestige. Behind him Alex Martin, author of a resounding weekend, saw the conquest of the Sprint Race.
Bagnaia smiles. The reigning World Champion closes in third place, ahead of his direct rival for the World Championship Martin. The Pecco dueled, especially at the beginning, with the Spaniard, but then took an important lead that he maintained until the checkered flag.
Thanks to this victory, Bagnaia brings his lead in the world standings over Martin to 14 points. After losing two points in the direct confrontation in the Sprint race, Pecco è recovered in Sunday’s race. Now appointment in Qatar, GP scheduled for next weekend, for the next installment of an endless challenge.
