Torino, there is already a queue for Adrien Tameze
English sirens for Adrien Tameze
Arrived in the summer from Hellas Verona, Adrien Tameze è slowly managed to take over Torino’s midfield, so much so that he has played, either in full or in a break, every match from the third day onwards. His performances have not gone unnoticed: according to reports from 'Tuttosport' in fact, three Premier League clubs have literally swooped on the French-Cameroonian.
These are, specifically, mid-tier clubs looking for the right element to make the leap in quality: in pole position would be Brighton, coached by Roberto De Zerbi, followed by West Ham, reigning Conference League champions, and Fulham, which after last season’s 10th place finish is struggling a bit and is looking for a solid midfielder.
The English clubs can afford to spend and could attempt the assault already in January, although Toro has invested 2.8 million euros for a player who in the past had also been in the sights of the bigs (Milan above all) and who for the moment è very important in Ivan Juric’s chessboard.
Born in 1994, Tameze wore as a professional the jerseys of Nancy, Valenciannes and Nice before arriving in Italy, at Atalanta, in January 2020. In the summer of that year, the move to Hellas, where he played for three years, winning three consecutive salvations, before moving to Torino.
