The words of Carlos Sainz after FP2 of the Abu Dhabi GP

The weekend at Yas Marina è started in the worst way for Carlos Sainz, who after the seventh place in FP1 è was protagonist of an accident in FP2 that put an early end to his session. At the microphones of "Sky Sport F1", the Ferrari driver wanted to bluntly analyze his Friday in Abu Dhabi.

"It was not the Friday I dreamed of. We played a little bit with the set up in FP1 and I did not see starting FP2 to try the changes made to the car" began the Spanish driver.

"Unfortunately, I got on the bump at the entrance of turn 3 and lost the car, touching the bottom and hitting the barriers. It was a costly mistake and I apologize to my mechanics for giving them extra work today. Tomorrow I will start from scratch and try my best. There seems to be a lot of balance here, so we can expect a very interesting qualifying" added Carlos Sainz.
