Salernitana knocked out Lazio on Saturday afternoon, winning 3 very important points. Ciro Immobile put his side ahead thanks to a penalty kick scored on 43' but in the second half Inzaghi’s team overturned the result.
At 55' Kastanos tied the score after a rather fortuitous rebound and 10 minutes later Antonio Candreva put his signature on the 2-1 with a sensational goal: the former biancoceleste player beat Provedel (not very well in the situation) with a broadside from outside the box.
Lazio will return to the field on Tuesday to face Celtic in the Champions League, Salernitana, on the other hand, will face Fiorentina in the next round of the championship.
