In Valencia, Ayumu Sasaki wins the last Moto3 race of the year

Third career victory and first of the season for the Japanese Liqui Moly Husqvarna Intact GP Ayumu Sasaki in the last round of the Moto3 world championship season, the Grand Prix of Comunità Valenciana at the Ricardo Tormo circuit.

The 23-year-old Japanese rider confirmed second place in the final standings by beating in the sprint in the order the Colombian of GASGAS Aspar Team David Alonso, the Spaniard of the’Angeluss MTA Team Ivan Ortolá, the Dutchman his teammate Collin Veijer and the Turkish of Red Bull KTM Ajo Deniz Öncü.

Newly crowned world champion Jaume Masiá on his Leopard Racing Honda strolled by finishing 13th. In the final standings, he finishes 6 points ahead of Sasaki and 29 ahead of Alonso.
