Serie B: Catanzaro takes derby with Cosenza, Ternana stops Palermo

Catanzaro-Cosenza 2-0 and Ternana-Palermo 1-1

The fourteenth day of Serie B closes with Catanzaro’s victory in the derby with Cosenza (2-0) and a draw between Ternana and Palermo (1-1).

At the 'Ceravolo' in Catanzaro, the hosts started off strong right away and found the lead with Iemmello at 12' who deposited in the net a low cross from Katseris. In the resumption, the Eagles doubled with Biasci at 52' who scored with the left-hander after a series of rebounds.

At the 'Liberati' of Terni, the Rosanero went ahead at 35' with a header by Lucioni on the development of a corner kicked by Stulac. In the resumption, the Rossoverdi evened the score with Casasola who turned a cross from the left by Lucchesi into the net.

Catanzaro hooks Palermo at 24 in the standings, in fifth place. Cosenza is stuck at 19 in ninth place, while Ternana rises to 8 points, in second-to-last position.
