In the defeat of Virtus Segafredo Bologna on the parquet of the Happy Casa Brindisi, Marco Belinelli reached and surpassed 3000 points in Serie A, a goal already reached by players currently in the Italian league by Alessandro Gentile (3776), David Logan (3484), Amedeo Della Valle (3299) and Achille Polonara (3137). With the 11 points scored in Brindisi, Belinelli arrives at 3002.

Belinelli’s first points in the league were scored in his debut game on April 4, 2002 with the Virtus Bologna jersey in the game against Snaidero Udine.

The current Belinelli's best season as a scorer was in 2006/07 with the Fortitudo Bologna jersey, when he held an average of 16 points per game while playing 33 games in the league.

The record for points on a single game are the 34 scored in the playoff game of the 2005/06 season against Napoli also with the Fortitudo jersey and in the 2021/22 season with the Virtus Bologna jersey in the regular season game played in Milan.

Marco Belinelli has dressed, in his Italian career, only the jerseys of the two Bologna teams, scoring 1593 total points with Fortitudo and 1408 total (so far) with Virtus.

In Brindisi, Marco Belinelli also cut 300 Serie A appearances, a figure already reached among active players by Stefano Gentile (417 appearances), Valerio Mazzola (408), Awudu Abass (371), Achille Polonara (354), Paul Biligha (342), David Cournooh (327), Andrea Zerini (313) and Toto Forray (312).
