Marta Rossetti doesn’t want to stop

In the aftermath of her fifth place finish in the special slalom in Killington, USA, Marta Rossetti reflects, speaking to Fisi channels, on the importance of a top-5 place that Italian girls haven't achieved in a World Cup slalom since Chiara Costazza came fifth in Squaw Valley in March 2017.

"I never expected to get fifth place – said the Brescian athlete -, forò è since’the beginning of the year I have been skiing with confidence and I knew I had a positive result in my feet. Already in Levi I felt good, on that occasion the result did not è arrive but I did not lose heart".

"In the pre-race days,” added Rossetti, a member of the Gold Flames Sports Group, “we prepared well, with different conditions every day, I saw that the snow was hard and compact, as I like it. Between the first and second runs I reviewed the video and it impressed me, becauseè I had so much room for improvement".

"Soì è it was, in these conditions I can say my piece, now I will tryò to bring this positivityà also in the next races, we have to find continuityà. I am also happy for my teammates, we are training well, we need some’ time to grow all together, these results help a lot" concluded the blue skier.
