Champions League, other matches: Arsenal makes it six at Lens

With of Groups A, B, C and D of the Champions League ended the fifth day of the top continental competition, which will return with the last round on the evenings of December 12 and 13 next.

In Group A, already qualified Bayern drew 0-0 against FC Copenhagen: a result that keeps the Danes in the running for qualification to the round of 16, also in light of the 3-3 draw between Galatasaray and Manchester United (Garnacho, Bruno Fernandes and McTominay scored for the Red Devils, Ziyech twice and Akturkoglu for the Turks). Ranking: Bayern 13, FC Copenhagen and Galatasaray 5, Manchester United 4.

In Group B Arsenal’s resounding 6-0 win over Lens: Havertz, Gabriel Jesus, Saka, Martinelli and Odegaard score before halftime, Jorginho on a penalty put the icing on the cake by scoring the only goal of the second half. In the other match of the group, PSV defeated Sevilla in a comeback, to which goals by Sergio Ramos and En Nesyri were not enough: after Ocampos was red carded, Saibari’s goal, Gudelj’s own goal and Pepi’s decisive marker came for the 3.2 final for the Dutch. Standings: Arsenal 12, PSV 8, Lens 5, Sevilla 2.

In Group C, Napoli’s, in addition to Real Madrid’s 4-2 win over the Parthenopeans, Braga’s draw against Union Berlin should be noted: Germans ahead with former Atalanta and Inter Milan player Robin Gosens, Portuguese equalizer (with the team in ten for the red to Niakate) with Djalo. Standings: Real Madrid 15, Napoli 7, Braga 4, Union Berlin 2.

To finish in Group D, Inter's, in addition to the Nerazzurri’s 3-3 draw at home to Benfica there's Real Sociedad’s 0-0 draw against Salzburg. Standings: Real Sociedad and Inter 11, Salzburg 4, Benfica 1.
