Ducati, Enea Bastianini smiles again: ‘Already better than last year’

Putting a season to forget behind seems finally possible.

Enea Bastianini is already smiling again after the final tests of 2023 in Valencia. The rider from Rimini, back from a championship in which è was mothballed by problems, tested the Desmosedici GP24 with which he will faceà the next MotoGP season and said he has alreadyà gathered good feelings in view of the championship to come.

"Things went well from the start – Bastianini confirmed at the end of the tests -. Alreadyà the first impact with the GP24 è was better than the one I had last year. The difference with the 2023 Desmosedici è not so much, but this bike è better. Plus, we were already able to work well on the set-up, which I hadn't been able to do with continuity last season.

"We improved in handling the bike and also in corner entry. The best aspect of all are però the improvements on the setup. The engine braking is better, and the engine itself è faster. When you open the throttle comes a very good response, I am really happy. Too bad only for the strong wind that there'was on the track in Valencia, but I will have; other opportunities to try a real time attack", concluded Bastianini.
