L’Allianz Vero Volley Milano è is ready to return to the court for the fourth day of Pool A of CEV Champions League 2023/24. Tomorrow, Wednesday, Dec. 6, at 8 p.m. (Direct Tv DAZN), Orro and her teammates will face the French Volley Alsace Mulhouse at the friendly walls of the Opiquad Arena in Monza.

The Consortium’s women’s flagship team, in the top continental competition, è back from the excellent away victory on the hostile court of the reigning European champions of VakifBank Istanbul with a dry 0-3, obtained in just over an hour of play. Clear path at the moment for Marco Gaspari’s team, which has not conceded a single set in the first three matches played – against Stara Pazova and, precisely, Mulhouse and VakifBank Istanbul -, placing itself at the head of Pool A with 9 points.

L’Allianz Vero Volley Milano will have to play a decisive and orderly match, continuing to grind out the game as in the first leg challenge where the Milanese had been relentless, leaving no room for the French by pushing especially on the serve and taking advantage of the excellent wall-defense correlation. Ex of the match Helena Cazaute: the transalpine setter, originally from Narbonne, spent two seasons between 2019 and 2021 with Mulhouse, in which she won a championship and a French Cup.

The French lineup è its 24th season in the European Cups and 12th overall participation in the CEV Champions League, in which it has played 66 matches with 14 wins. In the history of the competition, among French teams, only RC Cannes can boast a greater number of participations in the top continental club competition (19). In spite of numerous participations, Mulhouse has è never managed to go beyond the group stage. The French have never achieved a victory against an Italian team, with a score of 21 defeats.
